Colorado Embroidery Works

SOA here we come. You want to start a club and be like SOA or the Wild Hogs. Well there is quite a little work to do before you can sew that patch on. You first need to have an idea of how many members or will it just be you, the President....

If you plan to wear the back patch, its best to check with your local MC Clubs to find out if there are any issues, permissions you will need. Yes, unfortunetly permissions in most cases. Real MC clubs take offense to you not checking and getting their permission, if you are in their territory. You may not agree with it, but its the way it is in the biker community.

Once you are comfortable that there will not be issues, you should have determined if you will use a one piece patch or a 3 piece, consisting of a top center and bottom rocker. I would really suggest you not use a MC patch and definetly NOT a 1% patch unless you are a 1% club. Those 2 patches will cause you major problems. Another thing to stay away from is a territory bottom rocker, ie City, State etc. The 1% clubs all have claimed territory and if you are wearing a State rocker for example and they did not give you permission, you may very well have a serious problem. We will post more later, but the info I have posted here are from my many years making biker patches and knowing what actually occurs regards to club start ups.
